Today we will have a look on Amazon Basics Wired Keyboard & Mouse Combo which is sold exclusively on amazon.
Built Qulity
You Can say its good for the price. Build quality is not very good or very bad accorrding to price. I bought it in 1000 rupees.But the wire quality don’t seem durable.
Design
Amzon tried give this keyboard an elegant yet minimalistic look. The keyboard has two back stand for Comfortable Typing.
The Mouse
The optical mouse provides exceptional performance every time it is equipped with accurate 1000 DPI optical tracking. Use the combo to be productive with the smooth and accurate control of the cursor. With a strong key design, making the keyboard suitable for long hours of use perfectly.
The quality of the mouse is very basic I can say, you can feel plastic quality is cheap, if it serves your purpose, you are good to go. I Personal didn’t like its design & not comfortable to use either.
I think amazon should have included a better mouse I this combo, because the Keyboard design is way better than the mouse
Compatibility
Both Mouse & Keyboard works on all operating systems including PC/Mac/Laptop/Smartphone/Tablet.
The keyboard we have received had fault . The home key had not pop up automatically after press. Then we Placed the replacement request. Thanks to amazon’s 7 days replacement policy, we got it replaced & its working fine till now.
One more thing, The Keyboad doesn’t have any backlight or RGB effects which is obvious because of its price.i think it would have great if they included media control keys. The key design is just for casual typing experience. You Could get a mechanical keyboard by Spending 3 to 4 times of its Price.for a Better typing experience. Because I have seen with these budget keyboards, the pop up spring mechanism of the keys fails over time.sometime a key press is not detected by the System & sometime you press a key once but its registered multiple times in the system, its Very crucial if you are doing some important office work.
Also the keyboard doesn’t come with Palm rest, Wihich has become essential these days.After Covid, more & more people are choosing work from home Jobs. With Palm rest, Long time typing will provide a little more comfortable experience.
